New York, May 21 (CNA) – Uncertainty over the resolution of the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran put pressure on the oil market today, causing international oil prices to fluctuate sharply and close down about 2%. According to Reuters, Brent crude futures fell $2.44, or 2.3%, to settle at $102.58 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped $1.90, or 1.9%, to settle at $96.35 per barrel.
