Nan Pao Begins Shipments of Semiconductor Adhesives, Aims for New Revenue High This Year

(CNA, Taipei, May 21, by reporter Tseng Jen-kai) Nan Pao announced today that its semiconductor adhesives have started shipping to its joint venture, Hsin Bao C-MAT, contributing to revenue. As certification progresses, related revenue is expected to gradually increase this year. Nan Pao CEO Hsu Ming-hsien stated that despite numerous uncertainties in the global political and economic situation, Nan Pao still aims to achieve a new revenue high this year. Nan Pao held an investor conference today, where Hsu Ming-hsien mentioned that customers have been actively stocking up due to expectations of rising raw material prices. Nan Pao has entered the semiconductor adhesive and other electronics fields, establishing the joint venture Hsin Bao C-MAT in August of last year with Hsin-yih-tsai and Cica-Holic to enter the high-end adhesive market for advanced semiconductor packaging. Shipments have now begun. Nan Pao stated that Hsin Bao C-MAT has been co-developing with several major semiconductor packaging companies and recently obtained certifications from multiple clients, including a world-class packaging giant. Hsu Ming-hsien said that Nan Pao's growth in the first half of the year is stable and the full-year revenue growth target will be maintained. In terms of profitability, despite pressure from rising raw material costs, the company's overall profit this year still has a chance to challenge last year's level, thanks to revenue scale expansion, product structure optimization, improved internal operational efficiency, strict expense control, and benefits from the asset activation of its Changhua plant. Facing disruptions in the global petrochemical supply chain and rising raw material costs due to the US-Iran war, Nan Pao said it will continue to optimize operations and product structure to mitigate the impact on profitability, while actively ensuring a stable supply of upstream raw materials.
