Taiwan Mobile Partners with Software Association to Drive Cybersecurity Governance

Chu Hsiao-Hsing, Taiwan Mobile's Chief Business Officer, stated that the modern cybersecurity trend has progressed from "passive detection" to "proactive warning." Hacker attacks have extended to intelligence trading and premeditated assaults. Taiwan Mobile assists government units in accurately interpreting vast amounts of intelligence, transforming potential threats into predictable governance. With AI accelerating attacks, cybersecurity threats have evolved from single-point attacks to systematic intelligence warfare. The latest data from international cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike shows that by 2025, attack breakout speed will have shortened by 65% to just 29 minutes, and a high of 82% of intrusions have shifted to "malware-free" attacks that exploit legitimate credentials, making traditional passive detection insufficient. To help the public sector strengthen its defensive capabilities, Taiwan Mobile issued a press release today stating that it has joined hands with the Software Industry Association to promote a seminar on "Intelligence-Driven Cybersecurity Governance: The Key Puzzle Piece for Government Digital Resilience." The event attracted over 120 government and industry professionals to discuss how to build a new generation of active defense architecture through proactive warning and AI technology. Chu Hsiao-Hsing, Chief Business Officer of Enterprise Services at Taiwan Mobile, said that the modern cybersecurity trend has moved from the era of passive detection to proactive warning. Hacker attacks are no longer limited to system vulnerabilities but have expanded to intelligence trading and premeditated assaults. Taiwan Mobile helps government units address the core of digital resilience by accurately interpreting massive amounts of intelligence, turning potential threats into predictable and defensible governance strategies, and establishing a comprehensive cybersecurity ecosystem to face the ever-changing security landscape. In terms of anti-fraud and threat intelligence, Taiwan Mobile revealed that fraudulent attacks are often concentrated during late-night hours when defenses are weak, with the average person encountering about 18 risks per month. Taiwan Mobile's "Anti-Fraud Sentinel" has detected over 650 million suspicious domains since its launch.
