The company's Q1 performance remained strong despite the off-season, with quarterly revenue exceeding the NT$1 billion mark for the first time, reaching NT$1.048 billion, a 13% increase from the previous quarter. Weltrend pointed out that revenue from smart application chips related to server cooling fan motor control increased by 35% quarter-on-quarter, accounting for 43% of total revenue, serving as the main driver for the record-high Q1 revenue. With the optimization of the product mix, the gross margin for Q1 climbed to 34%, an increase of 3 percentage points from Q4 2025. Due to a decline in non-operating income, net profit after tax fell to NT$137 million, a 54% decrease from the previous quarter, with earnings per share of NT$0.7. Weltrend stated that the penetration rate of its USB-C control chips in the laptop market is about 70%, with Weltrend holding a 60% market share, maintaining its leading position. Its server cooling fan motor control chip market share exceeds 30%, and is even higher in the AI server market. As the market moves toward liquid cooling, this will help increase shipments of these control chips.
