The owner mentioned that since this month, the viral buffalo has attracted many curious people to visit and take photos. Officials from the Bangladesh livestock department noted that albino buffaloes are extremely rare. Bangladesh, a Muslim-majority nation of 170 million, will celebrate Eid al-Adha later this month. During the festival, it is expected that over 12 million livestock, including goats, sheep, cows, and buffaloes, will be slaughtered, and owners will share the meat with friends, family, and the poor.
