Wiwynn: AI Server Demand Outstrips Supply, Focus Shifts to Capacity and Power

Wiwynn Chair and Chief Strategy Officer Emily Hong stated today that while geopolitics was the hot topic last year, the focus this year has shifted to production capacity and power supply due to the surge in AI demand. Wiwynn has specifically developed a power roadmap extending to 2028, as server testing is highly power-intensive. Hong noted that without sufficient power, testing is impossible. Consequently, the company is investing in power infrastructure in Mexico, the US, and Malaysia. Wiwynn has completely exited China to align with US supply chain requirements. While core R&D remains in Taiwan, the company is expanding globally to attract talent, as Taiwan faces a labor shortage.
