Far Eastern International Bank (FEIB) announced at its annual shareholders' meeting today that its total assets reached NT$873.7 billion last year, with a net profit after tax of NT$4.117 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.93. This year, the bank aims for over 6% growth in total assets, deposits, and loans, while strategically optimizing its profit structure, including expanding virtual asset payment services. The shareholders' meeting approved the 2025 earnings distribution plan, with a dividend of NT$0.6335 per share (NT$0.514 in cash and NT$0.1195 in stock), representing a payout ratio of approximately 68.4%. Chairman Chou Tien-tsai mentioned the ongoing global geopolitical turmoil and the rapid advancement of AI, stating that the bank will maintain a focus on long-term steady growth based on financial resilience. The bank plans to expand retail deposits through its 'Bankee' digital platform, which provides virtual asset payment services. Bankee's total deposits exceeded NT$27.1 billion last year, with over 290,000 customers. Regarding potential M&A, Chou explained that while the bank is always looking for good opportunities, there are currently no new developments.
