June TAIEX futures closed at 42,442 points, up 939 points, with a positive basis of 174.03 points compared to the spot market. The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the next two months of index futures contracts at 41,503 points for June and 41,488 points for July. The total trading volume for the Taipei stock market today was NT$1.188432 trillion. June TAIEX futures saw a volume of 57,521 contracts, while July futures closed at 42,456 points, up 968 points, with a volume of 521 contracts.
