Walking and Dance Carnival Kicks Off, Penghu Promotes 'Sports Island' Vision

Central News Agency, Penghu, May 23. The 'Sports i Taiwan 2.0' carnival took place today at the Penghu Multi-functional Sports Complex. The event, featuring walking, dance performances, and ball games, aims to shape Penghu into a 'Sports Island.' The event was kicked off by officials including Lin Chang-an, Lan Kai-yuan, Yeh Chu-lin, and Yeh Kuan-nan, with over 1,000 participants joining in a group dance. Lin Chang-an encouraged residents of all ages to exercise regularly to build a healthy city. Yeh Kuan-nan stated that the goal is to establish sports clubs in local communities, making sports an integral part of daily life in Penghu.
