Truck Crashes into House in Changhua, Killing Two; Driver Detained for Drug Use

A traffic accident occurred last night on Zhangnan Road in Changhua City, Changhua County, when a small truck lost control and crashed into a house, resulting in the deaths of a father and daughter surnamed Lin and injuring a woman surnamed Huang. The driver, a man surnamed Li, was detained today after questioning by prosecutors. The accident happened around 9:40 PM. The truck crashed into a hot pot restaurant, hitting the 80-year-old father and his 56-year-old daughter who were closing up. Despite rescue efforts, both were declared dead at the hospital. Police found 'zombie vapes' in the truck. Prosecutors stated that the suspect likely used multiple drugs before driving and have detained him on charges of dangerous driving resulting in death.
