Tainan May Hit Over 38°C; Temperatures to Peak on May 26-27

The Central Weather Administration has issued a high-temperature warning across Taiwan, with Tainan City under a red alert for potential temperatures exceeding 38°C. Weather expert Wu Der-rong stated that the heat will feel like mid-summer until the 28th, with the peak occurring on the 26th and 27th. Rain is expected from the 29th due to a plum rain front, bringing cooler temperatures, but sunny and hot weather is expected to return by the 31st. Citizens are advised to take precautions against heatstroke.
