After continuous surveillance, police arrested the man in front of a convenience store on Jinshi Road in Yilan City around 4:00 PM that day. The case is being investigated for obstruction of justice and public endangerment, and the man will also be cited for traffic violations such as driving against traffic. The Yilan Police Precinct stated that ramming police vehicles or law enforcement officers constitutes obstruction of justice under the Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of up to three years in prison, detention, or a fine of up to 300,000 NTD.
