Central News Agency, Dubai, May 25. An official familiar with the matter said today that Iran's chief negotiator and foreign minister have arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to hold talks with the Qatari Prime Minister on a potential agreement with the United States to end the war that has lasted for three months. The official, who was briefed on the Iranian delegation's trip to Doha, told Reuters that the main focus of the visit is on the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium. The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran is also accompanying them to discuss the unfreezing of Iranian funds, which could be part of the agreement. A spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said at a regular press conference today that while conclusions have been reached on many issues, this does not mean that an agreement is about to be signed.
