Central News Agency, Taipei, May 25. The Taipei District Prosecutors Office held an unveiling ceremony today for its "Election Integrity Task Force" for the 115th year local elections. Prosecutor-General Wang Chun-li outlined four key priorities: strictly cracking down on bribery and violence, cutting off election gambling, preventing disinformation, and blocking foreign interference to ensure a fair election. With the local elections scheduled for November 28, the office has been coordinating with police and investigative agencies. Wang emphasized that regarding the threat of disinformation, the office will follow the principles of "immediate response, effective clarification, rapid removal, and strict investigation."
