Entertainer Aben is starring in the drama 'Life of a Hundred Flavors,' performing alongside Liu Shu-hong. The plot recreates the magic moves from their collaboration years ago in 'K.O.3an Guo.' Beyond being startled by the fast pace of filming, Aben discovered that the lines contain a lot of interesting Taiwanese cultural elements. Upon joining the crew of 'Life of a Hundred Flavors,' Aben deeply felt the astonishing power of the filming pace. He shared through a press release that before he had actually acted in one, he only felt that prime-time Taiwanese dramas were always about slapping, kneeling, or someone jumping off a cliff, 'because what everyone usually sees are very exaggerated trailers.' However, after truly immersing himself in the filming this time, his perspective completely changed. 'Actually, there is a lot of very interesting Taiwanese culture inside.' Aben specifically mentioned that different character identities and social classes speak Taiwanese differently, which allowed him to re-recognize Taiwanese culture. 'Besides those exaggerated plots, there are actually many things that are very grounded and delicate.' This time, Aben and Liu Shu-hong are collaborating after a long time; the last time they were in the same drama was the fantasy series 'K.O.3an Guo' years ago. Aben laughed and said, 'We used to fight with magic, but now we are really fighting with muscles!' Regarding his good friend Aben joining the cast, Liu Shu-hong could not hide his excitement, saying, 'I didn't expect him to come; I'm really happy. I've known him for 16 years!'
