Subsequently, profit-taking pressure emerged, causing the index to fall into negative territory, with a low of 43,349.77. The intraday volatility exceeded 700 points. As of 11:18 AM, the weighted index stood at 43,645.64, up 1.24 points, with a turnover of NT$1.0327 trillion. TSMC rose early but fell to 2,285 NTD, down 25 NTD. Delta Electronics hit a high of 2,410 NTD before returning to its flat price of 2,290 NTD. Foxconn hovered around its flat price of 261 NTD. MediaTek reached a high of 4,440 NTD before gains narrowed. Panel stocks retreated; AUO hit a limit down of 22 NTD, while Innolux fell to 45.25 NTD, down 7.84%. Kinpo opened at its limit up of 40 NTD but saw high volatility. Passive component stocks also corrected, with Yageo falling 8.68% to 631 NTD, Walsin Technology hitting a limit down of 289.5 NTD, and Holy Stone hitting a limit down of 471 NTD.
