National Ocean Day Celebration to be Held at Kaohsiung Port on June 7, Featuring New Coast Guard Equipment

The Ocean Affairs Council will hold the 7th National Ocean Day celebration on June 7 at Piers 16 and 17 of Kaohsiung Port. Under the theme 'Walking with the Ocean, Imagining the Future,' the event will showcase the Coast Guard's new second-generation drones and open the Yunlin patrol vessel for public tours. Established under the Marine Basic Law, the event will be attended by representatives from the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association. The celebration aims to highlight maritime culture and advanced surveillance technology, reinforcing cooperation between Taiwan, Japan, and the U.S. in the maritime domain.
