According to a report by CNA reporter Tsao Ya-yen in New Taipei City on the 26th, a drowning accident occurred at the Yonghe National Sports Center in New Taipei City today. A man, approximately 50 years old, was found in the pool with no signs of breathing or heartbeat. Lifeguards immediately pulled him ashore and performed CPR and used an AED. Emergency personnel arrived, took over the treatment, and transported him to the Yonghe Cardinal Tien Hospital. Although his vital signs briefly returned during transport, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of the drowning is still being clarified.
