According to AFP, Sabalenka overcame the high temperatures on Court Philippe Chatrier, taking just over 75 minutes to eliminate Maneiro and reach the round of 64. Sabalenka holds four Grand Slam titles, two each from the US and Australian Opens, but her best result at the French Open is a runner-up finish. She is aiming for her first career French Open title this year. Regarding the pressure, she said, "I think we all feel the pressure... but I'm used to it, so I know how not to let it affect me."
