According to the Central News Agency, DPP Taipei City Councilor Hsu Shu-hua pointed out today that the Taipei Dome generated 485 million NTD in its first year of operation, yet the city received only 3.98 million NTD in profit sharing. She demanded a renegotiation of the profit-sharing mechanism. Mayor Chiang Wan-an promised to negotiate with the Farglory Group as soon as possible. Hsu criticized the current calculation method as a "gift to Farglory" that ignores the welfare of citizens. Chiang explained that the Sports Bureau has been coordinating with Farglory, but the company claims it is still operating at a loss as the entire complex is not yet fully operational. Additionally, Councilor Chien Shu-pei criticized the city for returning part of the performance bond despite unresolved water leakage issues and pointed out poor visibility for wheelchair seating. Chiang stated that the city will impose fines for leaks as per the contract and will look into Japanese practices to improve wheelchair seating visibility.
