Multiple medical aesthetic clinics have been exposed for using hidden cameras, causing public alarm. Premier Cho Jung-tai stated on the 26th that the Executive Yuan has held meetings to discuss investigations, facility management, penalties, and equipment control. Minister of Health and Welfare Hsueh Jui-yuan noted that the ministry will require local health bureaus to quickly finalize and publish the list of penalized offenders. The government is also focusing on cybersecurity for medical imaging, including restricting network access and enforcing encryption, with potential legislative changes to the Medical Care Act.
