National Museum of Taiwan Literature Opens Global Registration for 2026 Literary Translation Workshop

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) announced that registration for the "Symphony of Words: 2026 Taiwan Literature English Translation Workshop" is now open globally until June 21. The workshop, scheduled for November 9-14 at the NMTL, aims to select 20 participants. The program is designed for translators, professionals, and students interested in translating Taiwanese literature. Given the growing international recognition of Taiwanese literature, the NMTL emphasizes the importance of nurturing new talent. The six-day intensive course includes practical translation sessions, career development, author lectures, and cultural tours in Tainan to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the translation industry and Taiwan's cultural context.
