French prosecutors said today that a 17-year-old boy has admitted to stabbing another teenager to death, an incident allegedly sparked by a girl's refusal to add him as a contact on TikTok. Prosecutor Jean-Michel Bladier stated that the suspect appeared in court in Meaux, east of Paris, and was charged with premeditated murder. The incident occurred on the 23rd at a campsite in Villevaude. After a heated phone argument, the girl's boyfriend arranged to meet the suspect for a fight. The suspect told investigators he brought a knife to "prove he wasn't afraid." He has a prior criminal record involving violence and weapon possession.
