Osaka Kosei Shinkin Bank (Location: Osaka Prefecture, Financial Institution Code: 1633) will commence an interest rate campaign for its smartphone-exclusive fixed deposit, 'Tokimeki Fixed Deposit,' at its internet branch, 'Osaka Tokimeki Branch,' starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The 'Osaka Tokimeki Branch,' which opened on November 10, 2025, is now launching an interest rate campaign for its fixed deposit product, 'Tokimeki Fixed Deposit,' exclusively for new customers. Applications can be made without visiting a branch through the 'Osaka Kosei Shinkin Bank App.'

Individuals aged 18 and over who use a passbook-less account via the Osaka Kosei Shinkin Bank App (personal use only).

※Limited to individuals who are Japanese nationals residing in the Kinki region (Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama prefectures).

How to Open an Account via the App

Important Notes

・This fixed deposit is exclusively handled via smartphone. It cannot be handled at branch counters.

・To apply, you must install the 'Osaka Kosei Shinkin Bank App' and contract for a passbook-less account.

・This fixed deposit is limited to new applications at the Osaka Tokimeki Branch. Existing customers of the Osaka Tokimeki Branch cannot apply.

・Certificates and passbooks will not be issued. Please check your transaction details via the app.

・This is an automatic renewal product (principal renewal, simple interest type). It will automatically renew at the interest rate applicable to the same product and term on the renewal date.

・Early withdrawal is generally not permitted. In unavoidable circumstances, the early withdrawal interest rate will apply.

・This fixed deposit is covered by the deposit insurance system. Principal and interest up to 10 million yen per depositor are protected.

・Interest is subject to withholding tax of 20.315% (15.315% national tax, 5% local tax).
