Necry Talkie to Provide ED Theme for TV Anime 'Yani Neko'! Digital EP Featuring 'Kemuri to Blue' Out August 5

Necry Talkie will provide the ending theme song for the TV anime 'Yani Neko,' which begins broadcasting on July 2, 2026.

The new song, titled 'Kemuri to Blue,' was written specifically for the series by guitarist Asahi, a massive fan of the original manga. The collaboration stems from Asahi's previous social media post expressing his dream to handle the theme song if the series were ever animated.

'Kemuri to Blue' serves as the title track for a digital EP releasing on Wednesday, August 5. The EP features four tracks in total: 'Kemuri to Blue,' the pop tune 'Eleki no Kimochi,' the high-energy 'Kaze ga Tada Fuiteiru,' and 'Yokei na Koto,' a song first performed during their 5th-anniversary solo concert.

On the EP's release day, the band will hold a celebratory live and talk event at Shindaita FEVER in Tokyo. Starting in September, they will embark on a nationwide two-man tour titled 'Okey Talkie! National Edition vol.7.'

In addition, their second Blu-ray production, 'Necry Talkie Major Debut 5th Anniversary Solo Performance "Shime" at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO),' will be released on Wednesday, June 24, exclusively via the Columbia Music Shop. This allows fans to enjoy the live version of 'Yokei na Koto' ahead of the EP release.
