Converse (CONVERSE) has announced new colors for the Fall/Winter 2026 season for "CONS UNAVERAGE MID," the signature model of basketball player Yuki Togashi, marking the first time a Japanese athlete has received a signature model in Converse's basketball category, "CONVERSE BASKETBALL." These will be released on July 17, 2026 (Fri).

"CONS UNAVERAGE MID" is a signature model that Yuki Togashi was deeply involved in developing, designed with meticulous attention to functionality that supports the agility and precise play required of a guard. The theme is "SPEED STAR," and the design emphasizes "quickness" tailored to the Japanese physique. Based on the mid-cut design that Togashi has favored for years, it achieves a balance of stability and lightness.

The upper uses highly breathable technical mesh and TPU fusion for excellent hold. Furthermore, it supports agile play from the feet with a TPU shank that provides a rebound effect during flexion and extension, a lateral wall stabilizer structure that balances cushioning and support, and the independently developed honeycomb cushioning material "REACT HC." It also features a high-density PU + E.V.A. insole for comfortable wear.

For the Fall/Winter 2026 season, two colors will be released, themed around Togashi's challenging spirit, his hidden passion, and "energy." "Green/White" is inspired by a "green flame" burning with tremendous intensity, expressing Togashi's strong will to constantly challenge new heights, appearing calm and collected on the surface but harboring an unparalleled passion within. "Black/Pink" represents "infinite energy" that explodes intensely on the court and never fades until the final buzzer. Additionally, the chevron logo on the side panels features a glossy print to visualize the dynamism of energy. Both colors share a common detail: a clear sole expressing "energy welling up from the feet," with Togashi's signature "II" visible from the bottom of the sole, a special specification that further enhances the worldview of this signature model by reflecting Togashi's exceptional playstyle and mindset from different angles.

Born in 1993, 32 years old, 167cm.

A basketball player from Niigata Prefecture. Plays point guard. Started playing mini-basketball in elementary school, has represented Japan at various age levels, played overseas, and has been active at the forefront of numerous stages, including the B.League. He also led the Japanese national team as captain in the recent Paris 2024 Olympics. With his unique playstyle characterized by overwhelming speed and high technical skill, he continues to lead Japanese basketball.
