Cake.jp Hosts 'Masterpiece Picture Book Cookie Can Selection' Pop-up Store at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Alta Starting June 13

Cake.jp, which operates the specialized cake and sweets e-commerce site 'Cake.jp,' will open a limited-time pop-up store titled 'Masterpiece Picture Book Cookie Can Selection by Cake.jp' at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City Alta 1F event space for 23 days, from Saturday, June 13, to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

This pop-up store is a highly popular event that has been held at over 50 locations nationwide, including Gransta Tokyo at JR East's Tokyo Station. The store will offer approximately 18 types of original cookie tins featuring collaborations with beloved picture books and trending titles such as 'Gaspard et Lisa,' 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar,' 'Nontan,' 'Nenaiko Dadeda' (A child who won't sleep), 'Pan Dorobo' (Bread Thief), and 'Ringo Kamoshirenai' (Maybe an Apple).

Picture book-themed cookie tins are a popular category for Cake.jp, expressing the worlds of popular books familiar to children. The cookies are free from wheat, eggs, and dairy. After the cookies are enjoyed, the tins serve as cute, secondary-use containers, making them excellent gifts.
