freee K.K. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Daisuke Sasaki) announced that it has been awarded the contract for the 'FY2026 Entrepreneurship Education Project' by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (SMRJ). Utilizing the expertise gained through its 'Kigyo Jidai' magazine and various student programs, freee will promote the expansion and strengthening of entrepreneurship education in high schools across Japan.
Under this project, freee will support the implementation of entrepreneurship programs at 29 schools and conduct 'visiting lectures' by entrepreneurs at approximately 50 schools. By providing multifaceted support, including matching entrepreneurs with schools and organizing workshops for faculty, freee aims to foster an environment where entrepreneurship can thrive.
