Mizuno Announces Takatoshi Otsuka as Brand Ambassador

Mizuno has signed a brand ambassador agreement with Takatoshi Otsuka, Japan's representative outside hitter currently playing for Power Volley Milano in one of the world's top volleyball leagues.

Under this agreement, Otsuka will wear the 'Wave Momentum Elite,' a volleyball shoe designed for superior cushioning and stability. He will also provide feedback and advice on the improvement and development of Mizuno's volleyball and training products, and support promotional and public relations activities. Moving forward, Mizuno aims to enhance volleyball performance and promote the sport's values to a wider audience through collaboration with Otsuka.

Won the National High School Spring Volleyball Championship in his third year at Rakunan High School. Contributed to Waseda University's five consecutive All-Japan Intercollegiate Championship titles. Joined Panasonic Panthers (now Osaka Bluteon) in 2022 during university, winning the V.LEAGUE Best Newcomer Award and Best Six honors. First selected for the Japanese national team in 2020 and competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as a university student. Played key roles in winning bronze at the 2023 Volleyball Nations League and silver in 2024. Selected for the Paris 2024 Olympics and currently plays for Power Volley Milano in Italy's Serie A.
