SHISEIDO, a brand operating in 90 countries and regions worldwide, has successfully developed a new formula for its 'serum foundation' series, which fuses serum and foundation. The new 'SHISEIDO Essence Skin Smooth Foundation,' which luxuriously contains skincare essences to create a fresh, light, and smooth finish that minimizes the appearance of pores and shine, along with the 'SHISEIDO Essence Skin Setting Powder (Limited Color),' will be released on July 1, 2026 (Wed) at approximately 330 department stores nationwide, as well as the SHISEIDO official website and the Shiseido online store.

The foundation luxuriously incorporates skincare ingredients through a serum formulation, including Kefir Ferment Extract GL, Niacinamide, and Smoothing Peptide. With every use, it supports the skin's moisture barrier function while providing plump, resilient firmness, leading to smooth skin where pores and shine are not noticeable. It fits the skin with a fresh and light texture, comfortably covering areas of concern, and provides a smooth, light-embraced finish that lasts for 24 hours.

Applying Shiseido's 'Serum-first technology,' the serum encapsulates foundation components, matte gel, and a sebum-absorbing veil. The moment it touches the skin, the serum spreads first, followed by the makeup layer, absorbing excess sebum to achieve a noise-less, smooth finish. By evolving the formulation, the product successfully balances a fresh feel with transparency and skin-correcting effects.

SHISEIDO's serum foundation series has been widely supported by customers since the launch of 'SHISEIDO Essence Skin Glow Foundation' in September 2023. The newly launched noise-less smooth type spreads freshly and lightly, instantly minimizing pores while achieving a smooth and uniform finish.

Furthermore, on the same day as the foundation's launch, the limited color '03 Pink Hydrating GLOW' of the 'SHISEIDO Essence Skin Setting Powder,' which previously sold out immediately, will be re-released in limited quantities. Pink-based light prisms melt into the skin, creating a rosy glow and transparency. The foundation is available in 12 shades, designed with SPF30・PA+++, is fragrance-free, and has passed non-comedogenic and allergy tests.
