The Culture Creation Team of the HR Planning Group, Human Resources Strategy Office at Tokyu Corporation, is responsible for planning and managing in-house events and publishing interview articles, operating under the policy that "HR must not only create systems and structures but also foster culture as a dual approach." Regarding articles, with the theme of "deeply exploring and conveying the appeal of people," a two-person team produces up to approximately 10 in-house interview articles and event transcripts per month.

This team had been outsourcing the transcription of in-house event content, which involved time-consuming procedures for each order and revisions to the returned manuscripts. Furthermore, interview articles of nearly 10,000 characters were produced entirely in-house, requiring significant time for transcribing recordings and compiling information based on memory. With limited resources, there were many themes they wished to communicate, making the strengthening of their production system a challenge.

They experimented with several generative AI services, but encountered a hurdle where the generated text was too polished, losing the raw information and personal nuances that could only be shared internally.

StoryHub Utilization at Tokyu Corporation

To resolve these issues, the Culture Creation Team adopted StoryHub. The deciding factors were the realization of the difference in output compared to general-purpose AI tools during the trial, and the collaborative design of "recipes" (※) with the担当者 (person in charge) to achieve the request of "we want to be able to output this," based on past in-house articles. (※ A function that allows AI to automatically generate content according to the purpose).

For interview articles, they customized recipes to handle requests opposite to typical AI usage, such as "capture all episodes to convey personality," "do not change the tone to polite speech," and "leave dialect as is." By organizing who spoke what and when, and outputting in clear Japanese, the burden of creating manuscripts from scratch was significantly reduced, shortening the production time for interview articles to approximately one-third of the previous time.

For event transcriptions, they prepared recipes that prioritized the content of the speech, aiming for accuracy close to verbatim. The need for external outsourcing and ordering procedures was eliminated, and processing could be completed during spare moments immediately after events. They have now established a system capable of producing up to approximately 12 events per month. Furthermore, a mechanism has been put in place to ensure content continuity even when personnel changes occur, leading to the resolution of knowledge silos.
