Timee Signs Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Sennan City and Hannan City, Osaka

Timee, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Rei Ogawa), provider of the spot work service "Timee," has concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Sennan City (Mayor: Yuma Yamamoto) and Hannan City (Mayor: Makoto Jōkō) in Osaka Prefecture.

Located in the southwestern part of Osaka Prefecture, Sennan City is known for its thriving tourism and logistics sectors, utilizing "Rinku Southern Beach" and its convenience as a location across from Kansai International Airport. It is a city where urban areas and nature harmonize, preserving historic streetscapes and agriculture.

Located at the southernmost tip of Osaka Prefecture, Hannan City is supported by the bounty of the Osaka Bay, known as the "Sea of Naniwa," and its rich rural landscapes. Fishery and local industries, such as oyster and seaweed cultivation and traditional sake breweries, form the main pillars of its regional economy.

However, the total population of the Sennan region (Izumisano City, Sennan City, Hannan City, and Kumatori Town) is projected to decrease by 71,290 people (approximately 27.9%) from 2020 to 2050. Furthermore, with the decline in the youth and working-age populations coupled with the aging of the baby boomer junior generation, severe challenges related to the declining birthrate and aging population are anticipated.

In response, Timee, Sennan City, and Hannan City have signed this cooperation agreement to aim for job creation and the sustainable development of key local industries using the spot work service "Timee." Based on this agreement, the partners aim to secure labor across municipal borders, focusing on the key industries of the two cities, and promote diverse work styles.

Through this agreement, Timee, Sennan City, and Hannan City will collaborate to provide various support to local businesses and workers.

- Implementation of "spot work" introduction support through briefings for local businesses. - Tapping into potential local labor by utilizing the convenience of spot work, which allows working at preferred times and locations. - Securing labor through the promotion of diverse work styles and personnel exchange in the Sennan and Hannan regions. - Initiatives related to wide-area labor sharing.

To date, we have signed agreements with 90 municipalities across 41 prefectures. This partnership with Sennan and Hannan marks our 90th municipal agreement.
