This project began with the desire of gelato enthusiast and former Takarazuka performer Hikaru Akine, who said, 'I'd be happy if I could naturally consume protein while enjoying my favorite ice cream.' As someone who incorporates training and body conditioning into her daily routine, Akine was committed not only to the nutritional aspect but also to 'creating delicious gelato,' going through numerous trial prototypes.

The partner, Hokkaido gelato specialty shop 'GELABO,' prioritizes bringing out the natural flavor of ingredients, using pasteurized milk from 'Yamanaka Dairy Farm' in Akaigawa Village, Hokkaido. By combining the shop's authentic craft gelato making with VALX's protein development know-how, they have created a new type of gelato that balances 'dessert satisfaction' with 'high protein.'
