Tabelog Announces 'Asian & Ethnic Best 100 2026'

Tabelog (https://tabelog.com/), a restaurant search and reservation service operated by Kakaku.com, Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Atsuhiro Murakami), announced the 'Tabelog Asian & Ethnic Best 100 2026' on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, recognizing restaurants highly rated by Tabelog users. Once again, 100 restaurants were selected in each of the three areas: TOKYO, EAST, and WEST.

About 'Tabelog Asian & Ethnic Best 100 2026' This gourmet award recognizes 100 highly rated restaurants per genre based on the concept: 'If you want to eat something delicious, eat it now.' Announced annually across various genres since 2017, this marks the 4th presentation of the 'Asian & Ethnic Best 100.'

Looking at the distribution of selected restaurants by municipality and prefecture, TOKYO saw 19 in Shibuya-ku, 14 in Chiyoda-ku, and 11 in Minato-ku. EAST was led by Aichi Prefecture with 27, Kanagawa with 25, and Chiba with 19. In WEST, Osaka accounted for 40, Hyogo for 13, and Fukuoka for 13, with these three areas accounting for approximately 70% of the total. This year, many new restaurants were included across all areas.

[TOKYO New Selections] There were 24 new selections in TOKYO, including 'Nakameguro Wakasa,' a by-reservation-only restaurant blending traditional Japanese and Korean food cultures, and new-concept Asian establishments like 'BIANCHI'.

[EAST New Selections] There were 30 new selections in EAST, including multi-national fusion restaurants blending Italian and South American cuisines, and establishments offering healthy meals featuring locally sourced ingredients.
