NAVITIME Japan (Representative Director and President: Keisuke Onishi, HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo) is partnering with Osaka Prefecture (Governor: Hirofumi Yoshimura) to hold a walking event to promote 'heat acclimatization' using the walking app 'ALKOO by NAVITIME' from June 1 to June 30, 2026.

The event aims to encourage heat acclimatization—the process of getting the body accustomed to heat by intentionally sweating through walking and bathing—before the peak of summer, thereby lowering the risk of heatstroke.

Participants can safely enjoy walking while avoiding direct sunlight by utilizing the app's unique features: the 'Shade Map,' which displays the real-time location of shade on a map, and the 'Shade Route,' which prioritizes shaded paths.

In collaboration with Osaka Prefecture, the company is supporting the health maintenance of residents and helping them prepare for the intense heat of summer.

Furthermore, from late June to the end of September, users will be able to easily search for 'Cool Oases' (cool spaces in Osaka) and 'Cooling Shelters' (available when Special Heatstroke Alerts are issued) via the 'Cooling Spot' tab on the map.

Event Overview - Period: June 1 (Mon) – June 30 (Tue), 2026 - Participation Fee: Free - How to Participate: Enter the campaign code within the 'ALKOO by NAVITIME' app. - Content: A ranking event based on step counts during the period. - Prizes: Bathing goods will be presented to 20 winners chosen by lottery from the top step-count scorers and those with rankings related to 'Furo (26)'. Note: Prizes are available only to residents of Osaka Prefecture.
