C&R Inc. (Creek & River Co., Ltd.) will host a free online event "[Game meets] #51 Differentiate Yourself in Your 30s! Career Strategies to Become a Sought-After Creator ~Thorough Explanation from Organizing Thoughts to Application Documents and Portfolios, Turning Experience and Skills into Weapons~" on July 28 (Tue) for game creators.

"Game meets," a creative co-creation community hosted by C&R Inc., provides opportunities for learning and meeting (meet) optimal for everyone involved in the game industry, fostering creativity and co-creation in business. We have held numerous seminars and events, all well-received.

In recent years, the game industry has seen significant changes in the roles required of creators due to the expansion of development scale and technological advancement. Not only is it necessary to enhance specialized skills, but there are also increasing demands for leadership to guide teams and a perspective that encompasses the entire project. As careers progress, everyone faces opportunities to consider choices such as "Should I further refine my expertise?" or "Should I challenge myself in management?" The 30s are often a turning point, and by understanding career perspectives and how to enhance market value from your 20s, you can significantly broaden your future options.

On the other hand, many people struggle with concerns such as, "Is it okay to continue my current career?" "How will my experience and skills be evaluated in the market?" or "I'm thinking of changing jobs, but I don't know where to start." At this event, career advisors from C&R Inc., who have been supporting creators in the game and CG industries for over 10 years, will speak and practically explain how creators in their 30s should organize their experience and skills and communicate them as market value.

On the day, we will discuss "What is the market value required of creators in their 30s?" "What's the difference between those whose same experiences are evaluated positively and those who aren't? How to verbalize your strengths," "How to create a compelling resume and portfolio that gives you a 'buff'," and "Key points to consider for career advancement and job hunting," with specific examples. This is an opportunity to organize your strengths and potential and gain hints on becoming a "sought-after creator" by connecting your accumulated experience to your next career. We encourage not only those in their 30s but also those in their 20s who want to "build a solid career foundation from now on" to participate.
