Interactive Workshop: Create Ad Designs with Image-Generating AI! Free Online Seminar 'Using Image-Generating AI More Freely and Enjoyably Vol.2' on August 7 (Fri)

Creek & River Co., Ltd. (C&R) will host a free online seminar titled 'Using Image-Generating AI More Freely and Enjoyably Vol.2: Let’s Create Ad Design Variations with Image-Generating AI!' on Friday, August 7, where participants will create images using the image-generation features of ChatGPT and Gemini.

This seminar combines explanatory sessions with hands-on workshops, offering a practical learning experience. Building on the previous session, this edition takes a step further by focusing on creating diverse ad designs. Participants will operate ChatGPT and Gemini firsthand while learning clear explanations on topics such as 'how to define advertising goals and target audiences,' 'how to give effective instructions to image-generating AI,' 'strategies for adapting designs to specific objectives,' and 'prompt design principles for generating ad variations.' Following the lecture, participants will create their own ad designs in real time.

Completed works will be shared via Padlet, an image-sharing service that requires no user registration. Participants can upload their design images, titles, and the prompts used. Even with the same theme, changing the target audience, purpose, or presentation style results in vastly different ad designs. Viewing others’ creations will expose participants to fresh ideas and new ways of using image-generating AI. Anyone with access to ChatGPT or Gemini—regardless of experience level—is welcome to join. We encourage all who wish to use image-generating AI 'more freely and more enjoyably' to participate.

Video Director / Designer

Mr. Uchida teaches video production and design to students aiming for careers in anime, manga, and gaming industries. He provides practical instruction in planning, production, and expressive techniques. In recent years, he has actively integrated AI tools such as text and image/video generators into his curriculum. He actively promotes AI use in creative fields through real-world examples and is a member of 'IKIGAI Lab.,' a community advancing generative AI adoption. He has spoken at various seminars and training sessions for educators, including the Education AI Summit 2024. Alongside his educational work, he works as a freelance video director, producing corporate video packages, music videos, and projection mapping projects.
