Crunchyroll has announced that global icon and Grammy Award-winning artist The Weeknd will appear at the momentous 10th "Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026" to present the "Anime of the Year" award. The Weeknd is known as a longtime anime fan and incorporates influences he has received from anime into his own work.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards determine the winners of 32 categories, including Anime of the Year presented by The Weeknd, through votes from anime fans around the world. Fans can vote for their favorite works and cast members once a day from the award's official website and MyAnimeList. The deadline is April 16 at 3:59 PM JST.
