John Lennon's only full-length concert following the breakup of The Beatles—the legendary 'One to One Concert' held at New York's Madison Square Garden on August 30, 1972—is back on the big screen with the highest visual and audio quality in the film 'Power to the People: John & Yoko Live in NYC.'

A 2-minute trailer with Japanese subtitles has been released for the film, which is scheduled for a worldwide simultaneous theatrical release starting Wednesday, April 29 (a public holiday), including at TOHO Cinemas Shante.

In addition, live footage of 'Come Together' and 'Open Your Box' from the film has also been made public. These clips showcase the clarity achieved through meticulous visual restoration and audio remastering of the original live recordings.

To commemorate the worldwide simultaneous release, a talk event will be held on the opening day, April 29, at TOHO Cinemas Shante. Guests Peter Barakan and Kunihiko Fujimoto will share deep insights into this historic concert after the screening. Tickets will go on sale starting midnight on Wednesday, April 22 (Tuesday midnight).

Furthermore, the screening reach has been expanded to 19 Dolby Atmos theaters and 43 standard theaters nationwide. Future additions will be announced on the official Japan website.

This work is a live concert film that restores, re-edits, and remixes the 'One to One Concert'—the only full-length concert John Lennon performed with Yoko Ono after The Beatles—using the latest technology. The project was led by Sean Ono Lennon and a team of seven-time Grammy winners.

Held on August 30, 1972, as a charity for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York...
