Effective June 1: Updates to 'CureApp HT' Hypertension Treatment App Following FY2026 Medical Fee Revision

CureApp, Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Kota Satake) has announced the key changes to the 'CureApp HT' hypertension treatment app in light of the 2026 fiscal year medical fee revision. This revision introduces new billing points for telemedicine and relaxes requirements for underlying medical management fees, creating an environment where more medical facilities can utilize the app. Key points include the establishment of 'online points' for the guidance and management fee for program-based medical devices, and the addition of 'Management Fee for Lifestyle-related Diseases II' to the facility requirements for CureApp HT (for facilities with fewer than 200 beds). Furthermore, requirements for 'Management Fee for Lifestyle-related Diseases I/II' and 'Community-based Comprehensive Medical Care Add-on' have been relaxed to improve accessibility. Specifically, in addition to the 90 points for in-person consultations, 78 points have been newly established for online consultations. Administrative burdens have also been reduced, such as the elimination of patient signatures on treatment plans.
