CureApp Launches 'CureApp Blood Pressure', Seamlessly Integrating Hypertension Management and Treatment

CureApp, the first company in Japan to sell a 'therapeutic app' to treat diseases, has renamed its hypertension treatment support app, 'CureApp HT,' to 'CureApp Blood Pressure.' This update seamlessly integrates daily blood pressure management—both before and after medical treatment—with the treatment process itself.

'CureApp Blood Pressure' now integrates a non-medical 'Blood Pressure Notebook Mode,' which is free for anyone to use, and the professional 'Treatment Mode (CureApp HT),' which is utilized under a doctor's diagnosis.

Key features include:

1. Continuous and Secure Blood Pressure Support The app provides a 'Blood Pressure Notebook Mode' for recording daily measurements and a 'Treatment Mode' that supports lifestyle improvements under medical guidance. When a prescription code is issued by a physician, patients can easily switch to 'Treatment Mode' within the app. Historical data is maintained, eliminating the need for re-downloads or additional configurations.

2. Designed for Both Doctors and Patients The 'Blood Pressure Notebook Mode' features an optical character recognition function that allows users to snap a photo of their blood pressure monitor, minimizing manual input. Additionally, a dedicated 'My Data' screen enables users to share their records with physicians instantly during consultations.

Migration Plan: Patients currently using the previous recording app, 'Smart Blood Pressure Record,' will be guided through a phased transition. All historical data will be transferred to 'CureApp Blood Pressure.' - June 2026: Migration instructions to begin within the 'Smart Blood Pressure Record' app. - October 2026: End of all services for 'Smart Blood Pressure Record.'
