Background Toyama Prefecture has been using kintone since 2022 to improve operational efficiency within the prefectural government. Since April 2025, Toyama Prefecture has been sending staff to be seconded at Cybozu. Through activities such as holding kintone study sessions at the prefectural office based on knowledge gained at Cybozu, the prefecture and Cybozu have deepened their collaboration. This partnership agreement was signed with the objective of further strengthening this cooperation to jointly promote DX and data utilization in local industries and accelerate DX throughout Toyama Prefecture. By exchanging and utilizing the knowledge and expertise of both parties, they aim to improve the productivity and convenience of all of Toyama Prefecture through DX.

Agreement Scope (1) Joint promotion of DX and data usage in Toyama Prefecture, and the expansion of leading examples to municipalities within the prefecture and nationwide. (2) Promotion of work-style reform for civil servants. (3) Development of digital talent. (4) Support for DX promotion and productivity improvement in local industries. (5) IT support during disasters. (6) Other necessary activities to achieve the purpose.

Key Cybozu Initiatives for Municipalities - **Municipal DX Box**: A kintone utilization program for municipalities. All employees can use kintone at a special price. The program includes hands-on support from certified partner companies, a collection of application templates for local governments, and online study sessions. - **kintone hive government**: A live event where municipal staff present case studies on how they use kintone. The second event, "kintone hive government 2026," is scheduled to be held in Osaka this July. - **Acceptance of Municipal Staff Secondments**: Aimed at knowledge exchange and supporting the development of DX human resources. Started in 2020, Cybozu has accepted a total of 23 employees from 11 municipalities.
