Tokyu Promotes Citizen Development with kintone AI, Achieving Frontline-Led Business Improvement

Cybozu, Inc. has released a case study on Tokyu Corporation's use of 'kintone.' As part of its AI strategy, Tokyu has incorporated kintone AI into its operations, enabling frontline-led business improvement that does not rely on specialized IT knowledge. By using search AI for quick retrieval of accounting issues and app-creation AI for development support, the company has eliminated the siloed nature of knowledge, improved training efficiency, and expanded cross-departmental collaboration. Tokyu established a 'Citizen Development Office' in February 2025 to build a support system that does not depend on IT personnel. Currently, they are supporting over 60 projects, aiming for a state where frontline employees use AI daily. kintone is a no-code/low-code tool used by many companies to create business apps without IT expertise.
