Cygames, Inc. has announced that the demo for the action RPG 'GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink - Endless Ragnarok', set to release on July 9, 2026, is now available as of Thursday, June 18. The demo is for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam®. A new video, the '3rd Trailer "The Journey So Far"', has also been released.
This demo is designed for new players to enjoy the early story and character actions. By playing the included modes, players can receive reward items in the full version of the game.
The demo includes the following content: 1. Story Mode: Play a portion of the beginning of the 'Relink' story. Clearing it allows you to receive a reward in the full game. 2. Quest Mode: Play four types of quests that support online cross-play. In the quest 'Glimmering of the Crimson Sefira', which appears after clearing three other quests, the new 'Summon' battle system can be used. Clearing each quest provides rewards for the full game. 3. Tutorial Mode: Learn the basic controls and battle operations.
Changes from the open beta test include reduced HP and attack for 'Aquila Rubidor', updated main menu character illustrations, the trial use of the new playable character 'Seofon', and fixes for matching errors.
The new story in this super-large expansion begins after clearing the Proto Bahamut fight in the main 'Relink' game, which unlocks the CHAOS difficulty. The new 'Summon' battle system becomes available after obtaining a 'Summonstone' in the new story.
The new single-player content 'Ultimate Void' will have its first layer unlocked via a new side quest in Chapter 6 of the main story, with subsequent layers unlocking as the story progresses. Each layer allows players to obtain materials for weapons, sigil enhancement, and more.
The unlock timings for the six new playable characters (Beatrix, Eustace, Ghandagoza, Maglielle, Fraux, and Fediel) have also been revealed, with each joining at different points in the game's progression.
