Osaka Gas Commences Ship-to-Ship LNG Bunkering Supply

Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. began its first 'Ship-to-Ship' LNG bunkering service at JFE Steel's West Japan Works on April 21. Using the dedicated bunkering vessel 'SETO AZURE', fuel is supplied directly at sea. Osaka Gas now offers all three major LNG supply methods, including 'Truck-to-Ship' and 'Shore-to-Ship'. Since LNG reduces CO2 emissions by about 30% compared to heavy oil, this flexible supply system will support the growing number of LNG-fueled ships and help decarbonize the maritime industry.
