Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. has signed an agreement with Furusato Co., Ltd., a Haseko Group company operating small-scale day care services for seniors with dementia, to introduce its 'Rakupita Soge' welfare transport management system.
'Rakupita Soge' supports transport operations for care facilities. Launched in 2018 and renewed in October 2025, it is currently used by over 200 corporations nationwide.
As the number of seniors with dementia rises, nursing facilities face increasing workloads. Transport operations are particularly difficult to streamline, as changes to routes can cause confusion for patients. Following a four-month pilot program that began in December 2025 at Furusato's facilities, Daihatsu confirmed the system could improve efficiency while ensuring patient safety, leading to this deployment agreement. Plans are in place to expand the system to all 45 of Furusato's directly managed facilities.
This marks Daihatsu's first simultaneous deployment to multiple small-scale facilities specializing in dementia care. Daihatsu remains committed to solving regional issues in the welfare and nursing care sector.
