Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare will relaunch its 'Patex Usupita Ship α' (Class 3 OTC drug), part of the 'Patex' brand of topical analgesic anti-inflammatory products, on June 15, 2026. The product has long been popular as an ultra-thin (approx. 0.9mm) cooling patch that does not easily snag on clothing. In this renewal, the formula for the adhesive base has been partially revised while maintaining its excellent efficacy and ease of application and removal. It contains glycol salicylate and l-menthol to suppress inflammation while providing a pleasant cooling sensation. The company aims to contribute to improving the quality of life for those suffering from back pain, stiff shoulders, and muscle pain.
