Retreat-style Hotel 'FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA' Opens in Futaba, Fukushima

Daiwa LifeNext Co., Ltd., a member of the Daiwa House Group, opened the retreat-style hotel 'FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA' in Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture, on June 1, 2026. The facility was developed under the concept of 'bringing many "rebirths" to Futaba,' offering lodging, training, and conference functions. It aims to be a place where visitors can spend time reflecting on themselves while engaging with the local climate, people, and culture of Futaba. Located in the Nakano District Reconstruction Industrial Hub, it features the region's largest banquet and conference rooms. Adjacent to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum and the Fukushima Prefecture Reconstruction Memorial Park, it serves as a hub for connecting the region with people. The souvenir shop offers carefully selected food and crafts from the Hamadori region and Fukushima. The hotel also offers original products inspired by local traditions and craftsmanship. As an opening commemorative initiative, original clear bottles made from biomass plastic derived from non-edible rice are provided as an early booking benefit.
