From Local to Global! 'DARTSLIVE Area Championship 2026 ~Road to SUPER DARTS~' Returns This Year

DARTSLIVE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Higashi Abe), a member of the SEGA SAMMY Group, is proud to announce the launch of the 'DARTSLIVE Area Championship 2026 ~Road to SUPER DARTS~', an event designed to determine the strongest darts players across Japan. Preliminary rounds will begin sequentially from Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Crowning the Strongest Regional Players – The 'Area Champions'

Last year's eight Area Champions.

The 'DARTSLIVE Area Championship' designates participating DARTSLIVE-equipped venues as preliminary venues to identify the top players in each region of Japan. The country is divided into six regions: 'Hokkaido-Tohoku', 'Kanto', 'Chubu-Hokuriku', 'Kinki', 'Chugoku-Shikoku', and 'Kyushu-Okinawa'. From the Kanto and Kinki regions, two champions will be selected each; from the other four regions, one champion each will be chosen.

The previous year's eight Area Champions will enter the regional finals as seeded players, heightening the excitement and competition for the championship titles.

Preliminary rounds will be held at designated DARTSLIVE-equipped venues. No professional qualification is required to participate; any individual aged 20 or older residing in Japan may join.

Additionally, a No.1 Deciding Match is scheduled for December, exclusively for the qualified Area Champions. The winner will earn the right to compete in 'SUPER DARTS 2027', the world championship of darts.
