MATE.BIKE Holds 2-Day Limited POPUP with 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI

Shonan Label Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture / President and CEO: Keisuke Kusume), a consolidated subsidiary of DD Group, will host a pop-up event with MATE.BIKE, an e-BIKE brand from Copenhagen, Denmark, for two days on July 19 (Sun) and July 20 (Mon, holiday), 2026, at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI, operated by Shonan Label Co., Ltd.

For two days only, guests can experience next-generation mobility while feeling the pleasant Shonan breeze. The event will feature a test ride event, a reception free party by the pool, a collaboration accommodation plan with original stickers, and limited-time rental bicycles, offering a variety of content to enjoy the city of Shonan and the hotel.

MATE.BIKE Test Ride Event to Feel the Shonan Sea Breeze

This test ride event is free to participate in and can be enjoyed between visits to the sauna and pool.

You can experience the powerful assist performance and comfortable riding unique to next-generation mobility while cruising along the Shonan coastline and through the streets of Chigasaki.

All participants who test ride will receive a set of original stickers exclusive to this event.

A one-day reception free party will be held at the iconic poolside of 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI to commemorate the launch of this pop-up event.

On the day, we will offer limited food and cold drinks inspired by the lifestyle of Denmark, the hometown of MATE.BIKE. Enjoy a unique summer moment by the open poolside.

A photo session with a professional photographer will also be held. The photo data will be handed over on the spot, allowing you to take home your event memories in pictures.

This event is free to enter and open to everyone. Please feel free to come with your family and friends.

A Shonan resort stay with next-generation mobility.

To commemorate this collaboration, we have prepared an original accommodation plan that allows you to use MATE.BIKE rental bicycles during your stay.

The rental bicycles can be used from check-in until 11:00 AM on the day of check-out, allowing you to enjoy MATE.BIKE and Shonan throughout your stay, from exploring the town after check-in to cycling along the coast the next morning.

Guests who use this plan will also receive an original collaboration sticker from MATE.BIKE and 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI.
